1) If you are having problems logging in or posting, email us urgently. Some users are experiencing problems with strange formatting (html) appearing in messages. This can be fixed by turning off rich text formatting in your control panel.
2) Abuse - we get the occasional spam. Please report these to us asap by email. This also applies to obscene or threatening posts. If you fall out with somone, please don't indulge in "flame wars" - i.e the need to have the last word, usually in an insulting or patronising way.
3) Development requests - if you have suggestions to improve the forums, this is best discussed here, or you can send emails. Bear in mind that the forum uses 3rd party software and therefore any changes would take a long time and we may decide the benefit is outweighed by the cost (in our time)
4) Assistance in using the forums - this is best asked in this forum, there are many people who will help you.
The best way to report serious problems (ie 1 and 2 above) is by email to forum@thinkingaustralia.com - this gets sent to Sam and Adam - and will usually be seen within 10 mins during office hours. | |
