| Hello,
That is a very good question, and is often asked.
When the container is arriving in Australia, the goods to be inspected and possibly fumigated are chosen based on the packing list that is submitted. So this is done by specific items, rather than the container as a whole.
Therefore the owner of the goods is the one to pay for any charges accrued with AQIS (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services).
It is completely up to Customs, but our team will always help to guide you with what you can and cannot take, and how to aim for a smooth shipment.
If you would like any further information please feel free to contact me on 0208 8838 8081.
Kind regards,
