Hi everyone,
Can anyone help with this one? My OH is in the process of restoring a 1971 Jaguar E-Type. What are the regulations on taking the car to OZ when it hasn't been on the road for years BUT will be rust and dirt free and not quite road worthy till he gets around to finishing it in OZ. Can we put it in the container with all our other stuff?
I'd be grateful if anyone could help or point me in the right direction as the car is his baby and would break his heart if it had to stay in the UK with new 'parents'!
Thanks, Lin
Harriet

Hi Lin,

We would hate to break your husbands heart!!
Moving the car should be fine, but there are a few things to do, to ensure all is okay.
The first thing you need to do, is apply for a permit to import the car. Once that's done, there will be more paper work to complete, but we can guide you through that at the time.

If you would like to get in touch directly, my number is: 020 8838 8081, and my e-mail address is: harriet.summerscales@anglopacific.co.uk.

If you send me an e-mail, I would be more than happy to reply with a copy of the moving guide for cars to Australia.

All the best,

Harriet
