Hi,

I'm in the process of entering the minefield, which is emigration. My major concern that I have is that as house price drop and the AUS$ strengthens my Aussie wealth will dwindle further, etc.

How poor is £1: $A2 and what was has it averaged out at over the last 2 to 5 years?

I’m obviously worried that if house values drop by 25ish% and the pound stays at approx 2:1 I'm going to be about 40% worse off than I would have been a year ago.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Nige

Hi Nige,

Apologies for the delay in my reply.

It's a minefield indeed, and it would be better to speak to you about your situation in more detail. If you would like to call us on 01753 859159 then we would be happy to talk you through your options and the strategies available to minimise the risks involved with moving currency.

All the best,

Richard.
